Join us at Southside UC @ Tarragindi, on Saturday, 1st May to hear from Rev Heather Griffin on the topic of, “Advancing Interfaith Understanding and Collaboration”. A valuable insight from someone actively involved in establishing interfaith relationships.
Heather is a member of SSUC. She worships with her husband, Derek at Tarragindi. After various roles as a geologist, Mum and educator, she was ordained as a Uniting Church minister in 2000. Her first placement was at Holland Park.
As a result of the events of 9/11, Heather has for the past 20 years, been actively involved in developing interfaith friendships on behalf of the Uniting Church, both in Queensland and nationally. This involvement and her passion have continued into retirement.
Enjoy a coffee, morning tea and fellowship in a friendly atmosphere from 10am at the church hall, 24 Pope St, Tarragindi.
