Join with people from across Australia in commemorating ANZAC Day this year. Due to social distancing physically gathering for Anzac Day celebrations is not possible.
We are invited to stand in our driveway, verandah or lounge room. To assist with your commemoration, a short service has been prepared.
Join us as Jock Dunbar is inducted as the Minister for New Missions Initiatives and Community Minister for Holland Park and Yeronga.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VENUE HAS BEEN CHANGED. WE'RE NOW MEETING AT OUR TARRAGINDI CENTRE.
Southside Uniting has a COVID safe plan and this allows us to conduct this picnic safely and responsibly.
A chance to get together with others from our congregation and enjoy a day out on the second last day of winter.
Please come with a willingness to talk, a friendly smile and an expectation that you'll meet new people.
Due to COVID19 restrictions you also need to bring everything that you will require - food, drinks, chairs, games.
We believe that the exercise of leadership within our congregation is a wonderful gift that you offer to all of us. Because we value your leadership, Southside wants to invest in your leadership development by inviting you to participate in the Global Leadership Summit.
The Global Leadership Summit 2020 is an experience for curious learners, difference makers and people just like you who want to grow deeper in their leadership to make a positive impact wherever they have influence.
This year the GLS will be hosted by our congregation at our Mt Gravatt centre on Saturday 17 October. There is no cost to anyone who offers leadership within Southside and its groups and activities. We'd love others to join us at a cost of $50 per person. For your investment of a day you will receive some world class leadership development, stimulating discussion with other Southside leaders and morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
