What to expect when you attend Sunday Morning Worship Services
Our Sunday Morning Services
Our church services go for around an hour. Each service will include singing, praying, sharing the peace, hearing announcements about what’s happening at SSUC and a sermon that explores the Bible and helps apply that to our lives. People are welcome to stand at different times during the service particularly when singing, however if you do not feel comfortable standing, then you can remain seated.
There is an opportunity for you to give to the work that Southside is doing, however there is no expectation for you to do this. Details of how to give are on the pre-service slideshow.
Young People
In the 8:30am service at Mt Gravatt, children will leave for Sunday School during the service during school terms. The Minister will pray for the children as they leave. In the services at Tarragindi and Yeronga activity packs are available for children to use.
People of all ages are welcome at all our services. Morning tea is after the services in the hall.
Need help on the day?
If you have any questions or need assistance on the day, you can approach any of our welcomers who will be at the entrance to the auditoriums.
